Job Description

We are currently looking for a dynamic and skilled Casual Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join our team. The shifts are scheduled from Monday through Friday. If you are self-motivated and have experience in this field, we would love to hear from you!

This role will be doing group activities and one-on-one sessions with our residents. This role also assists our residents at mealtimes.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in aged care is essential;
  • Certificate III Allied Health Assistant or Leisure and Lifestyle is essential;
  • An understanding of dementia and mental health;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • An outgoing and friendly personality;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations;
  • The skills to be adaptable to suit the needs of the residents;
  • A current National Police Clearance (not older than 6 months) and a visa with working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
  • Covid Vaccination and Current Flu Vaccine are essential for this role.
